![]() ![]() Lord Fredrik begins the battle by jumping into the background and increasing in size. The battle starts as Lord Fredrik prepares to send his minions onto the arena. He also drops his horn, which Donkey Kong uses to restore the island to its former climate. ![]() He flies right through his stationed command ship and destroys it and crashes into the sea where the remaining Snowmad ships are stationed, ending the Snowmads' reign over Donkey Kong Island. However, the Snowmad King is eventually defeated and blasted out of the volcano by the Kongs. After landing in a basalt field, Lord Fredrik challenges the Kongs to a final battle. Amused of their arrival, Lord Fredrik jumps towards the Kongs and shatters the icy ground, causing them to fall into the depths of the volcano. The Kongs then interrupt them by slamming on the icy ground in front of the Snowmad leader. ![]() Upon reaching Fredrik's fortress, the Kongs find the Snowmad King standing in front of his ice throne, as his underlings cheer for him. When Donkey Kong and his companions later return to the island, they make their way to the now-frozen volcano to battle Lord Fredrik throughout the level Meltdown Mayhem, Lord Fredrik can be heard laughing in the background (although the clip used originates from Tiki Tong in Donkey Kong Country Returns). The Snowmads then conquer the island by stationing their command ship on top of the Volcano as the ice dragon throws it into a state of perpetual winter. Lord Fredrik laughs as he blows into his enchanted horn, summoning an ice dragon, which blows the Kongs away from the island. After taking a closer look at the island through his telescope, a Pointy Tucks informs the Snowmad King of its findings.
